Hi! I just finished installing a 16x20 KDAT SYP deck, and based on how quickly the rain soaked in the other day, it’s pretty much ready to be stained. I’m planning to use the RAD cleaner, Brightener and stain (based on your review), but I want to get rid of the manufacturer’s link stamp (which appears on several of the boards) first, and if possible, lessen the appearance of the spacer marks (visible on every board). How do I get rid of these marks and how soon after can I go ahead and stain? Again, the wood seems pretty dry, so I don’t want to wait too long, but I also don’t want to rush it and ruin it. Thanks!

See this about ink stamps:  https://www.deckstainhelp.com/how-to-remove-the-ink-stamps-from-new-decking/

and you cannot stain this now. Let it weather and prep:  https://www.deckstainhelp.com/staining-a-new-kdat-deck/
