HI,

I have a cedar deck that has fairly decent stain coverage from last years "Cabot Australian Timber Oil Mahogany Flame. As you can see from some of the pics, some of the stain has come off but the vast majority is okay, I think. My question, can I just perform a cleaning and re apply the same stain over it? Or do I have to strip again before re-staining?

I purchased a All-In-one Wood Prep from Valspar. Its supposed to clean and brighten. I assume this would be okay to use? Or what is best cleaning product or method in my case? Thanks so much for the advice!

Never used or heard of the Valspar prep so not sure on its effectiveness or not.
