Long story short, I just purchased a house that has a large mahogany deck. Apparently the previous owner neglected it, and it has completely greyed. I plan on using the Restore-A-Deck package to clean and brighten it; however, I want to be sure I don't screw it up with the pressure washer. Is there an ideal PSI and pressure washer nozzle to use to clean it?
Thanks guys!
PSI is relative to how close you are to the wood. For example a 300 PSI washer woud only be that strong right at the tip. If you are say 10" away, the pressure will be reduced to half. We wash decks at 1000-1500 PSI using a wide fan tip.
