I have a 20 year old pressure treated SYP deck that has never been stained. The deck boards have some cracks, and some of the boards have expanded to be tight against each other. I am considering flipping the deck boards. I removed one board for inspection, and the bottom is in nice condition. Is there a way to remove the stain where the deck board has been in contact with the joist? What stain would you recommend? Thanks in advance.

Not really. That is a water stain most likely and they do not come out with cleaning.
