The product was initially put down after pressure washing in 2014.  It failed IMMEDIATELY.  After days of drying, outdoor furniture and potted planters returned to deck.  If you move a chair, table or plant...product lifts off and down to bare wood.  This is still happening.  You can actually peel it off the boards if you want to.  In hot weather, it is sticky.  Deck looks awful.  I am told we shouldn't sand it to remove.  Any comments?  Lawsuits?  I am so dissatisfied and don't know what to do next.  It's an 1,100 SF deck.

The only way to remove this SW product is to sand it off or replace the wood.

I'm in Portland, OR. and the contractors I have met with say that sanding would not work...Sherwin Williams rep says to power wash and slap another coat on...At my wit's end...

Might want to find a better stain and contractor. It needs to be removed. Adding more of the same will just make it worse.
