Has anyone had any experience with PPG Timeless stain from Home Depot? It says it is an oil based transparent stain. I need to stain a 1 month old pine PT deck. All the highly recommended stains seem to be mail order, and I would prefer a stain I can get a sample of and try out without having to wait on it to be mailed. Thanks!

All the products we review can be bought in stores as well as online. Best to check with the manufacturers for help. As for PPG and HD, both have yet to prove then can make or carry a quality deck stain. I am guessing (not 100% certain) the PPG Timeless is actually their Sunproof, with a private label for HD. Sunproof has not proven to be a quality product in our opinion. If you use it, let us know.
