Clean and brighten if using the same brand. Strip and brighten if switching brands. Either way it will be easy to prep old Ready Seal.
We use Padco and Sure line pads. Typically the 10" size.
You did not answer our question. What stain did you use? It is probably fine though.

Best to clean and brighten for prep after heavy sanding. Try the TWP 100 Series as the stain.
