Did not know what I was doing even though I got lucky and completed 4 deck areas around my home.  Although I did put 2 coats on and should have used only one.  But the last area, the front porch deck, I powerwashed and stained over a previous stain on a 4 year old deck.  The area that does not get sun did not have all the stain removed with the powerwash.  I am using Olympic Semi Transparent natural cedar.  It turned out too orange for me but acceptable since nothing I can do anything about now.  But my problem I need help with is The front porch is still tacky after two days.  As soon as I read your forum, I knew I had done this incorrectly.  I need to remove the old stain completely.   Not many choices here but there is a Lowe's and they have this remover  - JOMAX Stain and Finish Deck Stripper 1-Gallon Deck Cleaner for $19.95.   I called the Sherwin Williams store and they have Superdeck Stain and Sealant Remover for $25.  I attached porch deck photos seeing the shiny areas where the old stain was not removed.

A stripper will not remove this fully. You will need to sand this off.
