I have seen several mentions of people having a slippery, film residue left after using this product. I have the same and really need advice to get it off. I have used Restore a Deck cleaner, Brightener and another stipper from penofin that did a good job on first half of my deck. (Ran out of product on a Sunday, and penofin retailer was closed, so stupidly went to Home Depot and bought Behr) I have also tried pressure washing with just water and a degreaser. Grasping at straws. My pictures are dramatic because it shows boards stripped by Penofing next to boards stripped with Behr. You can see residue on top, and Behr caused wood to be darker after stripping. It's tigerwood. PLEASE HELP
Finish the stripping and then brighten all wood after to restore the color and lower the pH balance and even it out.
@administrator I already had used cleaner and brightener, residue still there. I then used pressure washer and degreaser, nothing helped, residue is still there, and these boards are darker than other half of deck. Also, the Behr stripper caused the very smooth tigerwood to have a rough finish now. Behr suggested I try using the stripper again, they said sometimes it takes a few applications to strip the wood. I was desperate, so stupidly tried it on a small section. This just made wood darker again, and a thicker layer of residue.
That is furring from over stripping. See here:

There is nothing else to strip. You will need to sand to fix this.
