I'm sure this subject has been brought up, but I couldn't find anything on it.
I just recently put on new p/t deck boards. I want to use a semi-transparent stain, but am having a hard time removing the stamp that is on the wood. Virtually every piece was stamped on the "bark side up" side.
I've tried sanding with fine sandpaper and scrubing with goof-off which was recommended at a paint store. Neither works well.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance!
Sorry but we still yet to have find anything that will remove these stamps effectively. Typically they go away from natural weathering.
