Used Thompson's All in One Transparent Stain/Sealer in a Honey Oak 2 years ago and maybe 2 years before that.  Very poor wear.  I would like to use RAD striipper and brightener before applying a RAD semi transparent stain.  Do i need to add any additives to the stripper or will it do the job on its own?  In southwest VA - deck gets afternoon sun. Thanks.

Best to use both stripper additives here.

Will the Natural stain cover whatever color remains or do I need to go with a bit more tint like the Light Walnut?

If you get the old stain off then fully then you can use any color you like.
