New Cedar Deck - grey or dark (non red) brown

I have spent a lot of time reading your site - thank you for the great resource. After reading the site I decided that I would order samples of the Woodrich timber oil stains. On their website the Amaretto coloured looked quite brown, with little red. That said it was shown on Ipe. I received the samples and tested them. They all appear quite gold or red. So, my question is does anyone know of a good stain for a new cedar deck that will appear dark grey (not blue) or dark brown. I would like the grain to still show through.

Any help would be appreciated.
