Looking for stain recommendations for a cedar fence

We have a 20 year old cedar fence that has never had any type of finish applied to it, but now we would like to apply a stain to enhance the color and protect the fence.  It has been cleaned with the bleach/water mixture and it looks good, although there are a few boards that need replacing.  We would like recommendations on which brand and type of stain to use.  Based on the reviews I've seen of various products, there are a lot of unsatisfactory products out there and I don't want to find out too late that we've used the wrong product.  Any help you can offer would be much appreciated.
