Installed 180 feet of cedar fence in Austin 3 months ago. It has weathered slightly (lightened in color) from a little rain and lots of sun. I would like to stain with TWP 1500 honey tone to keep it a light color. Or is another product recommended for this type of application? I'm thinking 10 gallons would be about right for around 2000 s.f.

Questions: Do I need to do any prep besides washing off obvious dirt? Can I use a garden-type pump sprayer to apply the stain? I don't really want to use a pad or roller on all 2160 s.f. Is one coat enough for first time? Any suggestions/hints would be most welcome!

Anne, you will need a lot more stain that 10 gallons. More like 15-20 gallons and more if you want to apply 2 coats. You can spray buy you will need to back wipe some drips.
