You could try the brightener again but the darkness looks internal. Meaning deep in the wood.
It shows darker in those areas with water should I do a Brightener on whole deck again
If it does not show when wet with water then it should not show when you apply the TWP stain.
Defy does not sell a semi-solid. We order the AC online and have it shipped.

It still will not blend perfectly but a little better. Look at Armstrong Clark in one of their semi-solid colors.
