No, do not put another product on top of the TWP. It will not work and cause problems.

It depends on how the semi-solid stain performs if it needs to be stripped or not. In general you want a product that can be easily removed if needed....

I think the two are very equal. I personally like both. TWP may give a little better UV protection but Armstrong applies slightly easier.
