2 coats wet on wet unless using on new wood that is 4-12 months old. Only one coat is what they suggest.

Might want to find a better stain and contractor. It needs to be removed. Adding more of the same will just make it worse.

The only way to remove this SW product is to sand it off or replace the wood.

We would apply 2 light coats now wet on wet. Back wipe any stain that does not soak in within 30-45 minutes.
