I am planning on stripping the terrible finish of Olympic semi-transparent oil-based stain off my deck this year. I plan on using the RAD stripper based on reviews. If I am correct, I can spray on with a pump sprayer (I have no pressure washer). Should I also scrub with a deck brush as it is applied? How long should it sit to strip adequately? I plan on using the RAD brightener afterwards as well. Any tips on applying or using this?
Great site by the way! Been very helpful already!

Olympic water based stain is difficult to strip. Best to apply the RAD Stripper, pressure wash, repeat as needed, and sand any remaining as needed.

So basically strip it the best I can with the RAD stripper and then spot sand trouble areas? I am pretty sure the Olympic is an oil-based stain...in your experience is this easier to strip than the water-based?
My plan of attack should then be (?):
1. Strip with RAD stripper
2. Let dry
3. Spot sand problem areas
4. Brighten
5. Let dry
6. Apply stain
Thanks again!

Oils are much easier to strip then water based stains. The steps are correct.
