Deck Stain Stripping Questions and Answers

I am in the process of stripping my redwood deck. I need to confirm the steps that are involved for my deck.
1. strip deck of old stain. (removing Cabot for TWP)
2. sand areas where stripper didn't remove old stain. and or (light sand entire deck with 60-80 grit paper?)
3. use cleaner to remove dust/dirt from sanding
4. use brightener to readjust pH levels in wood.
NOTE:
I discovered drywood termites in a couple planks prior to stripping (I will replace those bad planks) so I will be treating the whole redwood deck with a termite treatment called Bora Care.
5. treat redwood with Bora Care
6. apply new 1500 TWP stain.
Can someone confirm that I have covered everything and that my steps are in order. Especially steps 4 and 5.

Thanks for your response! Okay, just one other thing. When you say, Brighten right away. Do you mean literally. The redwood has now dried after the stripper was rinsed off. Will the brightener be able to properly restore the pH even though I waited several days to a week prior to using the brightener.

Is is best to brighten to wood right after you are done stripping and while the wood is still wet. It is best to neutralize ASAP as it reduces the possibility of getting the "fuzzies" from the stripper. You can still apply after drying and it will still brighten the wood and neutralize.
