solid color stain a big mistake

I'm beginning to think that I made a colossal mistake. I just had my deck cleaned, sanded, and stained with Sherwin Williams Deckscapes solid color stain (2 coats). The previous finish was semitransparent stain that had become worn and dis colored. Now, after a week, the finish sticks to anything ( chair, flowerpot, grill, etc). If I then move the item the finish lifts off, there is very little adhesion. looking into this, I think this is a common problem. Now the question is what to do about it. Any ideas?

BTW, the deck is pressure treated pine that gets afternoon sun. I live in Charlotte NC

Not much you can do at this point. Sand it all off or replace the wood. Strippers will not work on this.

Sorry 🙁

I filed a complaint with Sherwin Williams and they asked me to have the local, store manager come out and file a Product Quality Report (PQR). I will do that, but I anticipate the standard response that this an "application error". So, how about this for an idea. I will wait to see if the finish hardens up at all. if not, I will hire a plate sander for the horizontal main surface and restain with a quality oil based semi transparent In a color that matches the rest of the deck. I can"t see where it would be practical to remove the solid color still on all the other parts of the deck (railings, supports, etc)
