pad or brush

in your expert opinion, which will get the staining job done better ? pad or restore a decks brush ? i also want to make sure the stain gets in the crevices between the boards.

Same for speed. Brush probably better for getting between the boards.

ok - now, a pad or brush for doing the BEST job on the boards themselves? the horizontal surfaces…. thanks a million !!

We like pads but brushes work well.

thanks a million
i just have a huge huge deck - 2 levels and i will need 15 gallons to complete it. big expense between the stain and prep stuff. so i want to make sure i do it the best way possible for the best results. again i so appreciate our help !!!!
