Getting ready to stain this weekend

For the most part it loos good to go.

Either sand it off the stain on the rails or blend with the new stain. Blending would be easier. Maybe Armstrong Clark in the Rustic Brown or the Woodland Brown Semi-solid.

my wife likes the semi trans. she thinks the semi solid looks more like a painted look but im trying to tell her that any prior stain left on will show through the semi trans

As long as the new stain is the same color or slightly darker then it should blend.

Thanks. I really don't want to buy another thing of Restore-A-Deck stripper and there are small area with stain still on. Is there a stripper in the box stores that i can get that will work okay? Thanks
