Our deck is in a very heavily shaded area and constantly gets mold and mildew buildup on it. We are having a pressure cleaned and then need to restain it. Are there any stains that are particularly more resistant to these type of problems?
We prefer using a semi transparent stain.

Some stains will not attract mold and will have additives to help prevent mildew/mold growth. You will need to prep by removing all the mildew, old stain coatings, etc. Try the Defy Extreme Wood Stain.
