Deck Stain Questions and Answers

We did a bang up job using a cleaner on a 2 year old deck in NH. However the weather is not cooperating and I don't want to stain it too close to rain. We will be gone for work for almost 3 weeks. Do I have to use the cleaner again before staining or will it retain it's look and prep for the 21 days we are gone?
