California Paints?

Has anyone ever used this brand? How is it? I have been working on prep on my small front porch and stairs since August. Difficult time stripping away porch paint. Over all this time I keep changing mind about what type to stain with and which company to use. I thought I didn't want a solid stain as admin said that when it wears out I will need to resand all over again which I definitely do not want to do. However, my neighbor used California Paints solid stain with linseed oil and has had good luck with it. I am so confused...and have been in a state of confusion for quite some time. Thanks in advance for any helpful advice.
