I put clear Advanced Thompson's WaterSeal on my new cedar deck last fall in Western Massachusetts. Unfortunately, the deck is in direct sun and has turned grey. What should I use to strip the Thompson sealer and remove the grey before resealing with a better product? Also, can you recommend a sealer that performs well in New England?

I would strip with RAD Stain Stripper or HD80. Make sure to neutralize with a wood brightener after. As for a stain, you should look at TWP 1500 or Armstrong

Do you recommend a particular stain that will make it look like natural cedar?

Any color will enhance the natural grain of the wood. Lighter color are more popular.
