It has to be tinted for UV protection and that means you will enhance the color. Honeytone is the lightest in TWP.

It depends on the brand of stain and it is hard to not have it splash onto the railing, etc when stripping the floors.

The only way to remove a solid stain fully is to sand it off. You could flip the boards as well.

You cannot strip this off. The only way is to power sand it all off.
