It has to do with how old your wood, very absorbent and older wood will show less color.

@administrator Yes, I mixed them well. Here's the same samples on a scrap piece of wood...lots of color variation.

The railings look good but the floor still looks a little gray. Did you shake or mix the samples well?

You can use the RAD Products for all. Use the Cedar or Light Walnut color.

He did not prep correctly. You need to strip it all down to bare wood and start over. Possibly sand as well.
