It is too early to stain now. See this for tips on new wood: Once you wait and prep, try Armstrong Clark in Natural or Cedar Tone transparent colors.

Fence gets a good bit of sun throughout the day - I don't mind restraining every 2 yrs or so.

The easiest thing would be to cover all with a solid color stain so it will look uniform.
