Hello - I need some advice please!

I am located in Chicago and stained my brand new cedar deck yesterday with TWP Extreme. I did make sure to bleach & whiten it with Restore A Deck (steps 1 & 2). The deck also got lightly sanded to remove any of the remaining surface wood grains.

The weather yesterday was probably not ideal as there was spotted rain showers and instances of high heat (90+ degrees/direct sun). With my tight schedule, I had no choice to proceed with staining.

Today, I noticed the floorboards have areas of stain spotting and areas where the stain could not be soaked up by the wood & it dried this way. I really am not happy with the appearance so I want to try to fix it. Would you suggest another layer of stain or am I looking at a stripping and re-staining? I've attached two photos to help show the spotting.

Help! :?
