I have a deck that I stained with solid oil mix with semi -transparent oil.1 to 2. Tried to strip, did not work well. Rented vibrating sander, it also did not work well. I do not really want to belt sand the deck. Lots of work. Might not be up to it. What would you recommend ? I know that solid oils are not for very good for decks or is there one? Can you use latex over what I have left?PS. professional painter of 40 years. Tried something that did not work that well! Every other year had to go over it again. Did it for 10 years.
