AC is the only semi-solid we use and like. It is one of the last true penetrating oil based semi-solids that we can find. We would suggest it if you are considering a semi-solid. In general, a semi-solid will have more pigment and that means better UV protection over a semi-trans. Wearing and other factors will be about the same.

Live in western ma. 650sf pressure treated deck with 12 total steps. 4 yo. Stained once with twp semi transparent.

Thinking of semi solid as an option. Is there much difference in performance btwn the semi-transperants and the semi-solids?

What are the top rated semi-solids? (Armstrong Clark is the only one I see)
