	However I've noticed that the stains reviewed here cannot be tinted. Do you have a recommendation for a good tintable base? I'm wanting to keep the same color.<br />

	Deck is in Ohio, and faces south, so plenty of sun. After two years, the Cabot semi-solid I put down peeled up. I would like to maintain the same color (forest green), but can't find any reliable (read:unbiased) reviews of tintable bases. I am in search of something with more longevity. The verticals (ballusters and so forth) still seem to be wearing well though.<br />

	Pressure-washed most of the stain off (98&#37; or so) already, and am letting it dry out now. Do I need to strip off everything and brighten even if I go over it with another semi-transparent?]]></content:encoded>
