First time posting, and glad to have found this website :)

I have a 20-year-old porch made of cedar, and I just replaced my old lattice with new horizontal boards that are pressure-treated. We would like to stain the old cedar boards and the horizontal planks the same color, then do all vertical spindles/balusters white.

My question...do you think I can use a stain that will create a uniform look for cedar and pressure treated pieces, or will they look much different due to the difference in age and material?

FYI, I used Behr all in one wood cleaner (#64) then power washed. Next step is to use a wood brightener and sander to help with the old cedar boards.

Any info is appreciated, thank you!
