Hello,

We just installed 2 north facing decks here in San Francisco, CA. Supports are pressure treated wood, surfaces are Moso bamboo, and railings are Ipe. After taking in all of the info from this site, I was set on using the RAD stain for both the deck surface and railings after a few months of weathering, but it looks like RAD customer service is not recommending their stain for bamboo.

Does anyone have any experience staining Moso Bamboo Xtreme decking?

I see that there is a Messmer's product specifically for Moso bamboo, but other than that I'm not finding much.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
