Several times we have stained our cedar fence with Behr solid color home stain. it has been 4 yrs since our last staining and now some of the stain is flaking off and or blistering off completely leaving bare cedar. Should we stay with the same product or, if we choose to use TWP what would be the prep? Your recommendation please.

The deck stain has started to chip and wear down in places. I have since installed a 6 foot privacy fence around the yard (two years ago, I stained). I am wanting to stain the fence and then stain the deck. Which stain would you suggest for both?622,623,624
