                        <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>2 questions:  A)  What are the pros/cons of using solid stain (white) on the vertical posts and rails of our porch vs. painting them white?  </p><p>and, B)  My husband is turning custom rails for the porch, and is using untreated wood (4x4's from the lumber shop).  will they need to be treated somehow to seal them against occasional rain water, or would the Flood solid stain be enough protection?  Can the Flood solid stain be directly applied to untreated wood, or not?</p><p>Thanks!  </p>]]></content:encoded>
