Most high end stains will not bead water for very long but "shed" water. The TWP while doing this now will most likely not bead after 6-9 months.<br />

                        <content:encoded><![CDATA[First is the TWP 1500, then Defy Extreme.  I prefer the Defy for it's silky appearance, but the TWP sure does repel that rainwater. I assume the Defy is doing what it's supposed to do, but I am surprised to see how little the water beads. They were applied in the same week, 4 months ago, Defy on the north side (the mildewy side), TWP on the south side. <br />
