Hello,

I would like to apply the same color solid stain on my deck. The existing stain is worn out in many areas. I purchased Restore A Deck Stripper. Just trying to understand the steps I should take. This is what I understand so far. Was hoping you could help confirm this is correct.

1. Rinse the deck

2. Mix & spray RAD stripper on the deck

3. Use a stiff bristle brush to work RAD stripper into deck

4. Rinse the deck

5. Use 80 grit sandpaper to sand the deck and sweep with soft bristle brush

6. Reapply the solid stain

Thx!

Using a pressure washing after applying the stripper will help the process. The RAD stripper will not remove the solid stain completely. Just remove as much as you can.

Make sure to let the wood dry for 48 hours after the stripping, prior to sanding.
