                        <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I have to re-stain cedar siding what was stained with ZAR Rain Stain (semi-transparent) about 15 years ago.</p><p>I can't by ZAR stain in my are any more so i have to pick a different brand. </p><p>According to ZAR their stain is a mix of oil and latex, so i can't figure out whether i should go with oil base or latex base stain. Can i still use semi-transparent stain or i must go with solid.  Would i have to strip down original stain in all cases or there is a way to cheat out it.</p><p>Any suggestions are appropriated.</p>]]></content:encoded>
