Hello,

About 8 months ago I sanded, cleaned, brightened, and stained my cedar deck with Armstrong Clark semi-transparent cedar. As the weather warmed up again, I noticed abundant black mold and mossiness on the cedar planks. Today I re-cleaned, power washed, and re-brightened the deck. I think I was a little too over-zealous with the power washing, and I've now got a lot of white-ish areas where I believe I've taken the stain off the wood (a little fuzzy in some spots too) :(

My question is, would it work to apply another coat of the amrstrong clark overtop of the now somewhat spotty existing stain, or am I totally hooped & need to sand the whole thing and start over?

Thanks
