Only some expected peeling on flat surfaces</p><p>I am looking at a fence that was stained with a solid color acrylic stain about 5 years ago. The customer wants another coat of stain applied. She doesn't know what was used before and I have visually inspected the fence. There is some peeling of the stain on the horizontal boards and at the bottoms of the vertical, along with some dirt, but other than that the stain job has held up  quite well. It is time for a re-fresher coat. </p><p>I will be going back with a solid color stain and there is no way the customer will pay to have the old stain stripped, so my question at this point, after cleaning the fence, what would be the best solid color acrylic/latex stain that would be recommended by this site?  </p>]]></content:encoded>
