Good evening everyone. I built a pressure treated pine deck roughly 3 months ago with your run of the mill Home depot lumber (nothing special). I live in Buffalo NY and it has been quite a rainy summer with temps between 75-83 degrees for most of the summer and a week or two of 85-95 degrees. The wood still looks relatively new with very little shrinking. I have been doing a lot of research and have come up with various answers. I've heard the TWP brand is the best but directions say to wait a year before applying. Living in buffalo I would rather not wait a year due to the usual harsh winters we get. I want to use a stain/sealer that won't color the deck too much because my wife and I really like the natural look. So I guess my questions are Can I stain/seal the deck right now using a sealer/stain? and If I can which product should I use? Thanks for any input guys, its greatly appreciated!
