Our pt deck is approx. 13 yrs old and was stained with Behrs (big mistake, peelings everywhere) we have removed stain with strippers and sanded the floors the best we could. There are still some stain spots here and there but for the most part looks good. The spindles have been impossible and we removed about half off of each one and basically we have given up trying to get all of it off. Our deck gets afternoon sun. What stain/product do you recommend for the floor? we are leaning towards a light color brown. I know we will need a solid for the spindles and ledges. I am looking for a good product that will cover these. I am planning on two tone look with the spindles matching our siding which is a light tan.
Also, how long after cleaning and brightening should we start applying the stain?

thank you for any advice!
