So I installed a new door entrance in front of my deck, the door is mahogany. I picked up some Cabot semi-solid deck stain and applied about three coats the same day without reading the instructions... Big mistake, its been two days and the finish was tacky as can be, read the instructions and it says this stuff is a sealer and one coat only stain. third day its starting to dry up a bit but has figure prints all over it from installing it into the opening. I applied on coat on the doors so they are fine, but the frame geeezzzzzz. Any recomendations on how to fix the frame? Should i just try and wipe it down with mineral spirits?

Help is very much appreciated

Thanks in advance.
