30 year old log siding with large deck. We have been using Sikkens stains for years and the longevity just isn't good anymore. Product just seems to wear off, the old pine just isn't holding up the the weather in the Georgia mountains with high humidity. Need to decide on product. Consumer reports pointing me at Olympic at Lowes and Behr at Home Depot, but the product reviews are terrible. I don't want to do this again in 3 years, looking for longevity. Talked to TWP, but we cannot remove all of the old product, so they are out. Has been pressure washed and amazed at how much of the old product still remains.....looks bad. I believe we need a solid stain? Brand that will last ?
