We used Penofin natural oil stain on this 15 year old Ipe deck. It was cleaned with restore-a-deck stripper and brightener, buffed with a nylon cup brush and then stained. I’ve done a few like this over the past year and none have turned out spotty. All others turn the classic red/brown looking like an Ipe deck when it’s wet. Why could this one have turned out like this?? Please advice needed!
