We are not worried about if we have to do it again in 2 years but my concern is the peeling before. It says it's a semi solid. Is this a terrible idea? Any stain color does not match any decor or color outside we have. Grey and white is visual appealing though. Between and rock a hard place aka the wife.

Going on 10 months up. Never stained or sealed. I was told to leave the deck alone to let the wood dry out so it would accept a stain better.
