We applied the TWP yesterday and used all the prep that was required, the cleaner and brightener. Unfortunately, It did not come out as expected. Unfortunately we applied with a sprayer. Bad Idea. We applied the second coat. The first coat did not seem to penetrate that great even after sanding, cleaning and brightening. When we say puddles we smooth with brush. We applied the second coat wet on wet and it was still did not penetrate in spots. We smooth those spots with a brush. Now we have shiny spot in varies sections. It has been about 16 hours since it has been down and now we have just had a light rain and some of the porch has been rain on. Do you think the rain has harm anything. Can you suggest anything we can do to get the shiny spots out. Greatly appreciate you input and advice. My advice to anyone is do not use a spray it is very hard to control and uneven spread. It is possible to put another coat (a 3rd) application with a pad with may help even it out. Thanks for your advice. It will be greatly appreciated. .
