I tried to apply TWP1500 to a cedar #2 fence using a Home Depot brand concrete/masonry pump sprayer (all plastic) and had to abandon the project. Even using a brush to spread it out the result was (1) WAY too concentrated, dark and blotchy (2) WAY too slow. I would never finish and it would look poorly if i did.

Hi,
Want to say this is a great site with tons of unbiased information. Based on my research here I got a 5 gallon container of TWP 1500 Redwood for my deck. Deck is 7 years old and premium cedar decking with bench and railings of older redwood. Whole deck has been stripped, cleaned and brightened. Ready to stain - but not sure the best method and applicator to use for the deck and the railings. Any help would be appreciated for choosing type of roller and nap size, pad, and or brush. Thanks again!
